Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House

Mount PleasantMount Pleasant Neighbourhood House (MPNH) is located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, an extremely diverse East Vancouver neighbourhood where the Canadian challenges of immigration, poverty and social exclusion are played out daily at the community level.

MPNH has proven itself an enduring focal point in this neighbourhood for over 33 years and is a home-away-from-home for many of our neighbours. A place to gather, to learn and to participate in community life.

We bring people together to build and strengthen our communities by creating opportunities for people to feel included and welcome, and by offering programs and services which directly target our neighbourhood.

Not only do we offer a variety of services, we also organize and support activities that build on the strengths and skills that people bring to their communities, and by creating opportunities for them to have their voices heard.
