Dr. Ann McAfee to Speak at Citizen Budget Forum

Think City and the University of British Columbia's Political Science Dept. are pleased to announce that former City of Vancouver Co-Director of Planning Dr. Ann McAfee will be speaking at the Tuesday, March 19 Citizen Budget forum. This is a free event, please register here.

Dr. McAfee will be talking about the importance of public engagement, using examples from Vancouver and other cities. From 1994 to 2006, Dr. McAfee was responsible for award winning, city-wide and community processes involving thousands of citizens. Since retiring from city hall, Dr. McAfee continues to advise cities in China, Philippines, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Ukraine and Sweden on public participation.
